Co-Founder & MD

Ross Lynam

Ross Lynam is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of SmartX Accounting, where he oversees the firm's delivery of high-performance, technology-enabled outsourced finance solutions. With over 15 years of experience leading complex finance functions, Ross previously managed the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable operations for Ireland's largest university, overseeing €100m+ in annual income and more than 25,000 supplier invoices each year.

At SmartX, Ross leads a multidisciplinary team providing integrated outsourced accounting, tax, payroll, and compliance services powered by the SmartX methodology, structured workflows, automation, centralised controls, and cross-functional expertise.

An experienced entrepreneur, Ross founded a successful accounting firm in 2016 and later established a thriving insurance brokerage. He also held senior roles within the Department of Education, contributing to national financial operations.

His leadership defined by clarity, strategic focus, and teamwork is shaped by extensive experience managing large finance teams across both public and private sectors, consistently delivering operational excellence and measurable results.

He oversees operations across SmartX Accounting's India offices, ensuring consistent quality standards and seamless delivery.

Yash Kalasannavar

Yash Kalasannavar

Yash is an Account Manager at SmartX Accounting with significant professional experience in client servicing, including roles at Ernst & Young (EY) and Infosys. At SmartX, he is responsible for managing client relationships, coordinating service delivery, and acting as a key point of contact between clients and the operations team. He holds an MSc in Finance from Maynooth University, Ireland, and focuses on clear communication, efficient coordination, and maintaining high service standards in deadline-driven environments.
